Description

For sale, contact me for information on it.

This is a piece of equine jewelry, if you're buying it expecting it to fit a human, you're in for a surprise.

Rhythm Bead Necklaces:

Give a nice beat when you're riding so you instinctively work with your horse to improve your rhythm for whatever gait you're using.

They are also said to improve a gaited horse's beat, possibly for the same reason as given above.

Some people have reported that they have a calming effect on nervous horses because it gives "white noise" for them to focus on, rather than pay attention to every little rustle of leaves.

This Particular Necklace:

This rhythm bead necklace is a size medium (approximately 55") , appropriate for average horses.

The beads are various sizes and finishes of blue and coppery glass, with two sizes of metal ball findings spaced throughout. Medium sized metal bells (gold colored) are placed about every inch and a quarter, from the center to two thirds of the way up. The pendant is a wonderful blue swirl centerpiece with four crystals around it. As you can see, the blue and gold stands out on any color horse beautifully. There is a definite ending to the necklace, making it easy to center the necklace while riding. All the beads are strung on jeweler's wire and is crimped shut in two places, ensuring that the necklace will hold together even with some rough handling.

DO NOT LEAVE RHYTHM BEADS ON AN UNATTENDED ANIMAL. Glass, metal, and wire are not safe things for large beasts that are known to do silly things like trying to see how high your vet bill can go.

very nice! The last time I went to a pow-wow, I looked closely at some of the jingle dresses, and much of the jingles were made with the pop tops from soda cans
