Description
One of the projects I had when taking cermaics was to make a dinner set, so here's one of the bowls I made. I kinda (hah!) have a thing for celtic knots, so I based all the pattens on actual patterns found historically. This particular pattern was from a bowl found in Saulces-Champenoises, France.
The glaze on the set was partly an experiment, I had painted on the pattern using this blue rubbery stuff that water color painters use to block out areas, sprayed black glaze on it, peeled off the rubber, and sprayed white on over it all. The black turned a really nice shade of blue (which isn't coming out all that well in the pic, but take my word for it.)
