Knotwork Card 1

I was commissioned to make several celtic knotwork cards for the holidays. This one reminds me of octopus, or I suppose garlands.

The text is elvish from the Lord of the Rings, and translates to "A star shines at the hour of our meeting" rather pretty.

The knotwork is completely original, penciled, inked, and painted in with gouache by myself. I also did the calligraphy, uncial font.
