Planet Bloodstone Glass Bead

The way the red is splashed on reminds me of bloodstone, although the base colors are more turquoise and bright green.  Funny enough, the black was originally purple when I first applied it.  This was my third bead of the night (not including the two that shattered as I was making them)  I was pretty much done applying layers on this bead when I took a good look at the shape of it and was quite pleased.  It's not perfectly centered but it's pretty close!  This was made by laying down a disk like shape and layering multiple colors on top of it, then "splashing" red on the top and bottom, then re-heating it to nearly molten so it absorbed and blended all the colors as it was swirled in the fire.  These are a ton of fun to make, you can't take too long fiddling around you just have to go with it and see what you get.
